Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Hanoi | Hoa Lu | Tam Coc / Trang An | Mua Cave | Ninh Binh

Depart Hanoi and travel south through the Red River Delta toward Ninh Binh, with a short comfort stop along the way.

Arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the political center of Vietnam from the 10th century. Visit the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, and learn about the foundations of the Vietnamese state under the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties.

Continue with an optional cycling activity through peaceful villages and countryside roads. Guests who prefer may relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Pause for lunch with local specialties in a comfortable countryside setting. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

In the afternoon, choose one of the following scenic boat experiences:

• Tam Coc – A traditional sampan ride along the Ngo Dong River, passing rice paddies, limestone karsts, and natural caves.
  
• Trang An – A boat journey through a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring rivers, tunnel caves, and dramatic limestone landscapes.
  

Later, visit Mua Cave. Guests may climb the stone steps to the summit for panoramic views across the valley and surrounding countryside, or relax at the base.

In the late afternoon, transfer to your countryside accommodation. Check in and enjoy free time to relax or swim (seasonal).

Day 2 – Ninh Binh | Ha Long Bay Luxury Day Cruise | Hanoi

Enjoy a light breakfast before checking out and departing for Ha Long Bay.

Upon arrival at the harbor, board a luxury day cruise and enjoy a welcome drink while the vessel begins cruising through Ha Long Bay’s iconic limestone seascape.

Savor a buffet lunch onboard, featuring fresh seafood and Vietnamese specialties, as the cruise passes famous formations and islands.

Visit Surprising Cave (Sung Sot Cave), one of the largest and most impressive caves in Ha Long Bay. Continue to Luon Cave, where you may choose to kayak or sit on a bamboo boat rowed by local residents.

Later, stop at Titov Island for swimming at the beach or a short hike to the viewpoint for panoramic bay views. Guests may also relax onboard and enjoy facilities such as the jacuzzi.

As the cruise returns to port, enjoy a sunset party with fruits, cakes, tea, and juice on deck.

Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi by limousine, arriving in the evening.
