Overview
This is not your typical “tour with a short walk.” Cat Tien Wild Adventures 3D2N is a properly organized jungle expedition designed for travelers who want to feel the forest—its humidity, its silence, its sudden bird calls, and the thrill of being somewhere truly alive. With experienced guides and ranger support, you’ll trek deep into Cat Tien National Park, visit the rescue center, and spend a rare night in a ranger hut near Bau Sau (Crocodile Lake)—where sunset and night sounds turn the wilderness into your soundtrack.
Travel style: Jungle trekking + wildlife-focused experiences + ranger-style overnight

Why this 3D2N adventure works
1) It’s built like an expedition. You travel deeper, not just around the edges—especially with the Bau Sau section and ranger hut overnight.
2) Wildlife timing is smart. Dawn and dusk are the most rewarding windows, and this itinerary actually places you in the right spots at the right times.
3) Comfort is present—but not distracting. Guesthouse first night, ranger hut second night: a perfect balance of practicality and wildness.
4) It feels rare. Few experiences in Vietnam give you this level of inside-the-park immersion without going extreme.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cat Tien National Park (L/D)
Pick-up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City around 07:30 – 08:00. Drive approx. 260 km to Cat Tien National Park.
Afternoon: first jungle taste + rescue center
Arrive and begin exploring the park’s landscapes—tropical forest, big trees, and the park’s calm-but-electric energy. Visit the animal rescue center to see conservation in action and learn about local wildlife protection.
Evening: overnight inside the park
Dinner and overnight at the Cat Tien National Park guesthouse.
Optional (evening): Night Safari
Between 18:00 – 19:30, join a ranger-led night wildlife viewing experience for a chance to spot nocturnal animals (conditions depend on weather and wildlife activity).
Overnight: Park guesthouse
Day 2: Cat Tien Wild Jungle Trekking – Bau Sau Ranger Hut (B/L/D)
Optional (early morning): Gibbon watching
05:00 – 07:00 (recommended). Under guidance of a professional woodsman/ranger, listen for and observe gibbons at dawn—when the forest “wakes up” and calls echo across the canopy.
Main trek: deep forest route to Bau Sau (Crocodile Lake)
After breakfast, transfer by specialized vehicle about 10 km to the trek starting point. Begin an 11–12 km hike through tropical forest trails used for patrol and protection work—quiet routes where the forest feels truly uninterrupted.
Arrive at Bau Sau, a wetland ecosystem often called Crocodile Lake. Enjoy a late lunch at the ranger tent area and soak in the atmosphere of this remote zone.
Late afternoon: wetlands at golden hour
As the sun lowers, the landscape softens—birds and wetland life become more active, and the lake scenery turns cinematic.
Overnight: ranger hut experience
Spend the night in a ranger hut—a rare chance to experience the park after dark, when the jungle sounds deepen and the night feels vast.
Overnight: Ranger hut near Bau Sau
Day 3: Bau Sau – Nam Cat Tien – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Wake early around 05:00. Walk about 5 km on an easier trail as you exit the deeper forest zone (you may pass areas known for gibbon calls). A specialized vehicle meets you for transfer back to the guesthouse.
Pack up and begin the return journey to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch on the way. Drop-off in the afternoon/evening.

FAQs
Is this tour suitable for beginners?
Yes if you’re reasonably fit and comfortable hiking in humid conditions. Day 2 is the longest trek.
Will we definitely see wildlife?
Wildlife is never guaranteed. What’s guaranteed is an authentic habitat, excellent timing (dawn/dusk), and skilled guidance.
Is the ranger hut comfortable?
It’s basic but memorable—think “field-station style,” clean and functional, focused on the experience rather than luxury.
Can we add the Night Safari and gibbon watching?
Yes—both are optional and depend on ranger availability and conditions.
