Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 – Hanoi | Hoa Lu | Tam Coc / Trang An | Mua Cave | Ninh Binh
Depart Hanoi and travel south through the Red River Delta toward Ninh Binh, with a short comfort stop along the way.
Arrive at Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, the political center of Vietnam from the 10th century. Visit the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le, and learn about the early foundations of the Vietnamese state under the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties.
Continue with an optional cycling activity through nearby villages and countryside roads. Guests who prefer a slower pace may relax and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
Pause for lunch with local specialties in a comfortable countryside setting. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
In the afternoon, choose one of the following scenic boat experiences:
- Tam Coc – A traditional sampan ride along the Ngo Dong River, passing rice paddies, limestone karsts, and natural caves.
- Trang An – A boat journey through a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring rivers, tunnel caves, and dramatic limestone landscapes.

Day 2 – Ninh Binh | Cuc Phuong National Park | Hanoi
Enjoy breakfast at the accommodation before checking out.
Depart for Cuc Phuong National Park, Vietnam’s oldest national park and a biodiversity hotspot.
Begin with visits to the Endangered Primate Rescue Center and Turtle Conservation Center, where you’ll learn about wildlife protection and conservation efforts in Vietnam.
Continue deeper into the park by vehicle, passing through lush primary forest.
Enjoy lunch at the park center with local dishes.
In the afternoon, take a guided trek through the rainforest to visit the famous 1,000-Year-Old Tree and other ancient trees. Learn about the flora, fauna, and ecological importance of the forest.
Visit the Cave of Prehistoric Man, an archaeological site revealing early human presence in the region.
After the visit, begin the journey back to Hanoi, arriving in the evening.
